Reoccurring Weekly Events:
Monday Morning Bible Study meets every Monday morning at 7 a.m. at the Roots Coffee House on Hwy 26.
Wednesday Night Bible Hour for all 3 years old through 3rd grade is offered each Wednesday night through May.
Wednesday Fest: Menu for February 22nd will be Baked Potatoes and for February 29th it will be Spaghetti, salad, green beans, bread and dessert.
Mission Printing Day Trip: Meet in the rear parking lot each Tuesday at 8 a.m. to travel by car to Mission Printing in Arlington to assemble booklets. Bring a sack lunch, drinks are provided. Return by 1:30 p.m., visit with Charlie Kiser if interested in helping with this outreach.
“Piece Makers” Monthly Quilting Group will meet February 27th and 28th, in the fellowship hall at 9 a.m. Quilting Donations may be given to Janie Gwinn, or Beverly Neely. Checks may be made out to College Hill. Bring your sewing machines. All who would like to join are most needed and welcomed as we fellowship together while helping those in need. Remember to bring a sack/microwavable lunch.
Special Requests:
Malawi Students: It is once again time to offer support for the students in the Malawi School of Preaching. This is our second year to help the school and its students. There are 11 new students and 12 returning students. If you would like to support one of the students for $45 per month for 8 months, please see Kristeen Nations.
Host Families for the Chamber Singers are needed to house students the night of March 4th, give them breakfast, and return them to College Hill Monday morning, March 5th, by 9 a.m. We still need rooms for 2 girls, 7 boys, and 1 male adult chaperone. Please call the office if you are able host these students and/or chaperone.
Upcoming Events:
20/30’s Bible Class (Young Marrieds) will have a Lock-In Fellowship on Friday, February 24th at 7 p.m. through Saturday morning till 11:30 a.m. in Justin. Please come dressed casual ready to play games. Cost is $20 per couple which includes dinner and breakfast. Bring wedding picture, snacks, games, movies, and all necessary sleepover items. Monthly Mission Printing will meet March 1st, in the Fellowship Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. to work on the booklets.
The Harding University Chamber Singers will present a concert followed by a fellowship meal on Sunday, March 4th, after evening service. Please bring food to share and plan to stay. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and neighbors!
Game Night will be Monday evening, March 5th, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Bring any game. Snacks and drinks will be available.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: “God’s Big Backyard” June 24th-27th at 6:30 p.m. We will have a VBS Planning Session on Tuesday, March 6th at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We ask everyone who is interested in helping with VBS to make time to attend. We will need your input as we plan to make this VBS the best yet. This meeting is open to any adult or youth who would like to be a part of VBS. PIZZA and drinks will be provided, so please RSVP to Marcus Neely or to the office.
Primetimer’s Luncheon and Theater: On Saturday, March 10, 2012, we will be going to the 3 p.m. performance of “BIG RIVER” at the Artesian Theater in Hurst. The cost is $12.00 per person. Reservations need to be made to Martha Still (817-281-1135) by Sunday, February 27th. We will meet at the Church building at 1 p.m., eat a sandwich together before caravanning over to the Artesian Theater.
Wedding Invitation:
Nicole Yarbrough and David Fuoss, together with their parents, invite you to join them in celebration of their marriage on Saturday, March 31st at 4 p.m. in Blair, Nebraska. Wedding and Accommodation information is on the back bulletin board.
Ladies Bible Class:
Ladies Weekly Bible Class meets each Friday at 9:30 a.m. All ladies who are able are encouraged to attend class and invite your friends. Childcare is provided.
Ladies Bible Class Visitation and Luncheon: Wednesday, March 14th. Join us as we visit our shut-ins and then have lunch.
Ladies Birthday Luncheon will be February 29th, at Le Peep. Meet at the building at 10 a.m. for a short devotional first.
Family News:
Care Packages for Andrew Keller will be in both foyers starting Sunday if you would like to provide him personal cards or notes of encouragement or any of his favorite items, see list below, while he is in Afghanistan. Angela will put them in a special box to ship overseas.

Ritz Crackers, Goldfish, Hershey’s Drops (Cookies & Cream Flavor), Mountain Dew-small plastic bottles, Velveeta Shells & Cheese in the microwavable bowls, Gun & Ammo type magazines, Fruit snacks (gummies & fruit rollups), Trail Mix, Nutrigrain bars & Cereal bars, and Small cans of sliced jalapenos (they can’t get normal ones over there).
Elder Private Meetings:
Every Sunday morning after morning worship, Elders are available to meet with you and visit with any who would like to pray or discuss their personal needs or spiritual life.
