College Hill is a place that cares and serves.  It's a place to connect and grow.  It's a place to call home.

What we're all about

At College Hill, we try to be a church that follow's God's lead.  We believe that God is good, that God created the world, and that God loves people.

We believe in Jesus and in his resurrection, and we try our best to live faithfully and compassionately like he did.  We believe that Jesus is the answer to the world's deepest sorrows and hurts.

We believe that God has a plan for the world to restore its goodness and faith in him.  We try to be a part of that plan by loving one another, serving our neighborhood, and telling the story of how Jesus has changed our lives.  For a more in-depth overview of our beliefs and mission, click the link on the right.

What To expect when you visit us

When you come visit us, you can expect to feel invited and welcome.  We welcome all guests as part of our church family.  You'll find people of all ages and walks of life, people dressed in blue jeans and t-shirts or suits and ties.

On Sundays, we spend time worshipping God in song, praying to God, and reading scriptures that teach us about him.  We also listen to a brief message which encourages us and challenges us to live like Jesus lived.  The central part of our gathering is a moment we call communion, where we share in a symbolic meal that helps us remember the way Jesus gave his life for us.

During worship, we do offer an opportunity for our members to give back (if they choose) to the work of the church, but we do not expect visitors to contribute to this.  You are our honored guests; we would never want you to feel compelled or uncomfortable.

Finding your home with Us

We hope that College Hill can be the church that you call home.  We strive to treat one another with love and compassion, supporting one another along our life journeys.  We celebrate one another's successes and struggle together through challenging times.

Because we're a family, united by Jesus' love.

We also believe that the story of God is one that calls us all homeward.  Jesus said that He is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life."  When we follow him, we journey toward a home with God.

We may not have arrived yet.  We know that we're a group of imperfect people, and we sometimes struggle to find our way.  But we believe that Jesus invites all people to find their home in God.

So we invite you to come along with us.  We're finding our home together.
